SSC results on June 26
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the SSC results on June 26 at 11 am. The results will be available on various websites, including the official website of the board www.msbshse.ac.in.
According to a press note issued by MSBSHSE, schools will receive the result sheets at the respective centres of concerned divisional boards. Mark sheets will be distributed to the students on the same day. “There will be no merit list but the specific awards given by the MSBSHSE will be declared,” said the press note.
This year 15,98,213 students appeared for the exam including 6,93,527 girls and 9,04,686 boys. Of this, 13,96,009 were freshers who appeared for exams based on the new syllabus, while 2,02,204 repeaters appeared for the old syllabus exams.
The board has declared that the last date to apply for the verification of marks is July 7. The last date to apply for the October 2008 exams is also July 7. “Those who do not pass the March 2008 exam will have a last chance to appear for the exams based on the old syllabus in October 2008. Even after that if they are unable to clear the exam, they have to appear for the exam in March 2009 based on the new syllabus,” said the press note.
