In person:
The form can be obtained by submitting a Demand Draft of prescribed fee in favor of the Principal, DCE, Delhi-110042 payable at State Bank of India, Samepur, Delhi.


By Post:
Candidates who require application form by post should accompany a written request along with a demand draft of prescribed fee in favor of the Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi and they should also mention his/her name, address and telephone no: on the back of the DD. A self addressed envelop of size 30cm x 25cm with a postage stamp of Rs. 142/- should be enclosed. Write on the top of the envelope 'Request for B.E. Eligibility:
Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including practicals) provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core or elective) in the qualifying examination


Subjects for the Entrance test: Physics, Chemistry and Biology as per CBSE syllabus for class XI examination and syllabus for Senior School Certificate Examination.

Admission Process for Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) - Pondicherry



Admission:
Merit list for admission to all professional courses shall be drawn based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in JET-2010 by giving equal weightage to both. For candidates from other States / UTs seeking admission to B.Tech. degree course, merit list for admission shall be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects of the qualifying examination and marks obtained in 2010 -2010 by giving equal weightage to both. Application Procedure For Joint Entrance Test And Admission: Candidates who are required to appear in JET-2010 for seeking admission to the professional degree courses under CENTAC shall apply in the prescribed application forms.

Necessary application forms [(a) JET-2010 application form, (b) Admission application form for B.Tech and (c) Admission application form for Biology based courses] along with the Information Bulletin can be obtained on or after 10th April 2010 in person from the following Post Offices on all working days on payment of Rs.315/- (Rs.300/- towards the cost of application and Rs.15/- for service charges) and Rs.90/- (Rs.75/- towards the cost of application and Rs.15/- for service charges) for SC / ST candidates.

Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech. degree course should have passed the HSC (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto, with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, namely - Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), Bihar - Eligibility and Important Dates



Eligibility:
Minimum Age limit:
For Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream, there is no minimum age limit
For Medical Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, 2010 and
For Agriculture Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 1st July, 2010.

Selection:

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has been constituted by the Government of Bihar in accordance with the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act 1995. The Board presently conducts Combined Competitive Entrance Examinations (BCECE) for admission in Graduate level Vocational Courses in Engineering, Medical and Agricultural streams available in the Universities, Colleges and Institutions of the State of Bihar as well as those situated outside Bihar against State Quota seats.

Eligibility for AMIETE 2010

Students who have passed in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10+2 or equivalent examination shall only be eligible for the admission. Before the completion of the training, a student will be given practical training in our electronic lab to enable him to qualify the for the SET diploma also.
Students those who have cleared Diploma in Electronics are also eligible for admission. They will be exempted for papers of Section A examination i.e. the total duration for them will be 3 yrs

AMIETE
AMIETE is a graduate level examination equivalent to B.E./ B.Tech. program. The AMIETE examination is held in the following engineering streams:
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering
Information Technology

A candidate applying for AMIETE should not be less than 18 years for age. He/she should have passed 10 + 2 examination with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by any recognized board / university or Diploma in Engineering / Technology covering Physics and Mathematics of 10 + 2 level and work experience in relevant field.

AMIETE examination is divided in two subsections: Section A and Section B with 20 theory papers and a project work.

Section A:

Part I (6 subjects all compulsory)
Part II (5 Subjects all compulsory)

Section B:

Part I (5 Subjects all compulsory)
Part II (4 subjects - 2 compulsory and 2 electives)

Project Work: Compulsory. Students can complete project work after completing 14 compulsory papers of Section A and B. The pass marks for project work is 50%.

Eligibility Criteria for AMIE 2010

For Technician
The candidate should have passed 12th from any recognised Board with 45% marks at least.
For Senior Technician

Pattern of Examination for AMIE 2010
AMIE Pattern is divided into two sections: Section A & Section B.
Sections A & B examinations of the institution are held twice a year, generally in June and in December

Section a Examination Pattern
Examination is common for all those candidates who want to become engineers by having a degree of AMIE.
There are separate exams designed for Diploma Stream and Non Diploma Stream.

Section B Examination Pattern
Section B consists of 10 papers of which 7 are compulsory and 3 optional.
In Section B a candidate chooses a particular discipline of engineering program.
Candidates are admitted to appear for the Section B examination On the basis of satisfactory professional competence report.
