AMIE 2010
AMIE is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to expand corporate, government, and academic alliances to implement and support programs to attract, educate, graduate and place underrepresented minority students in engineering careers.

Eligibility Criteria for AMIE 2010

For Technician
The candidate should have passed 12th from any recognised Board with 45% marks at least.
For Senior Technician
The candidate should be 18 years on the date of application for selection or transfer.
Should be an engineer by profession working under a Corporate Member
Must have passed a diploma examination in engineering or technology

Pattern of Examination for AMIE 2010
AMIE Pattern is divided into two sections: Section A & Section B.
Sections A & B examinations of the institution are held twice a year, generally in June and in December

Section a Examination Pattern
Examination is common for all those candidates who want to become engineers by having a degree of AMIE.
There are separate exams designed for Diploma Stream and Non Diploma Stream.

Section B Examination Pattern
Section B consists of 10 papers of which 7 are compulsory and 3 optional.
In Section B a candidate chooses a particular discipline of engineering program.
Candidates are admitted to appear for the Section B examination On the basis of satisfactory professional competence report.

The examinations - Section A and B - are conducted in:
Abu Dhabi Allahabad, Ahmedabad, Bahrain, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Durgapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kathmandu, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Roorkee, Rourkela, Bhopal, Doha, Jamalpur, Mumbai, Trichy, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupathi, Vishakapatnam

In addition, Section A (Both Diploma and Non-Diploma) examinations are held in:

How to Apply of AMIE 2010
Application form and information boucher can be obtained by cash payment working days in person on payment of Rs. 150/- in cash at the Cash counter or by post on payment of Rs.225/ or by sending DD of Rs. 375/
